Renovated and refurnished as of July, 2016, it has a new queen size bed, an ensuite with a single spa bath and a separate shower and a wood fire in the living space.   Being triple brick with terra cotta floors, it is snug in winter and cool in summer.

The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals or a tasty snack to be enjoyed in seating by the entrance, lit up by an old coach lamp.

Lychgate Apartment is adjacent to a old wooden gate which opens to a BBQ area and continues down to the Ovens River and swimming hole.
